Spammers drive me crazy to hell...

Well, our WordPress blogs were hit by several botnet spammers last week.  They are now kept away thanks to spam buster plug-ins.  Then yesterday our Coppermine gallery was intruded by an Italian spammer.  These Russian and Italian spammers really drive me crazy and waste a lot of my valueable time.  pharaohweb says that the Akismet plugin that is used for WordPress may also be applied to Coppermine.  So I'll try that tomorrow.  I hope these botnet spammers will all soon get caught and put in jail.  One idiot from Floriday was caught and being tried in Boston for attacking Akamai.  An Australian spammer has been ordered to pay more than 1 million dolloars in restitution.  There is no peaceful time because of these evil spammers.

1) Are you actually looking for answers or is this just suppossed to be a rant. In case that you're asking for help: you shouldn't have posted your question on a sub-board that is named "no support".
2) Has been asked quite often already. Search for "comment spam"

I'm not looking for a solution, GauGau.  But thanks for asking.  I'm just frustrated because they came to all the four WordPress blogs we own and then now even to the photo gallery.  I don't know what they are exactly trying to achieve. 

I installed Akismet plugin.  Our PHP version is 5.  I hope it's working.
