Somehow the category links from my index.php page points to non existent pages.

Can anyone help me correct this problem?

Stramm

looks like you have modified some files... I'd say (even if we always tell people not to do so) themes.inc.php, maybe functions.inc.php too

restore them

What might of happened is that right after I installed it I change the directory name from /coppermine to /gallery (so it's easier to remember) but the email sending of photos weren't working so I renamed it back to /coppermine.

I also noticed some other errors. So I'll try replacing those files and see what happens. Now I just need to find those files, I don't have them because I installed it from fantastico.

Fantastico is outdated and buggy. Upgrade to the most recent stable release (currently cpg1.4.10) as suggested in the docs and your issues should be gone.

Is upgrading to 1.4.10 the same way as "3.4 Upgrading from cpg1.2.x or cpg1.3.x to version cpg1.4.9"? Instructions to upgrade to 1.4.10 is not documented yet.

Thanks.
