Language Not used after upgrading from 1.4.9 to 1.4.10

After upgrading from 1.4.9 to 1.4.10 my "configured" language is not used anymore. Whatever I try, I still get English. (Clearing cache / Cookies, etc.)
The only way to get Dutch is to add: index.php?lang=dutch at the end of the URL.
When I look in the DB the config param: "lang" says "dutch". (Which is correct if you ask me.)
The gallery is still shown in English. The Dutch language file is in place and working. (because index.php?lang=dutch works fine)

Is there something changed?
Is this because I am working on an "English" operating system?

Yes. If you wish to disable this feature then search the board for the code.

Strange I have not had this problem before.
(Browser clears my cookies when I close it, and did not change my language settings or have a new computer or something....)
