I have Coppermine v1.1.0 installed on my site and I'd like to upgrade to 1.4.10

I wasn't sure where to put this question so firstly let me apologise if this is in the wrong category. Its just that the question relates to both 1.4.10 and 1.1.0

Basically, my questions are:
Is it possible to upgrade but still keep my database of pictures?
How would I go about upgrading, would it have to be done in stages?
Do I have to somehow 'export' the database, upgrade and then import the database back in?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

John  :)

Foursuggestions. One is to read the documentation provided with 1.4.10 , it describes what to do in your situation. Or read this http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm
The second suggestion is to search the board before posting questions.
The third is to actually look at the categories.. because 1.4 upgrade does actually exist in the 1.4 support category ;)
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?board=59.0
The Fourth is to keep the titles of your question simple.. Something like Upgrading from 1.10 to 1.4.10. Need some advice would have been better. Don't try to write short stories in the title ;)

Search, read and you will be able to find the answers to your questions.

Cheers!
