Voting Not Working

Hello,

New to the board and I have tried searching on this topic.  Found this similiar question: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=31196.0

My problem is it did not help me.  I did the test with the code and it gave me page to let me know the voting on the image did not work, but I have no idea on how to fix the problem.  I am not the best at coding and do not understand much with php.  Out of the options available with my webhost, coppermine was the best choice for having a gallery for members to show off their pictures.  I am finding it pretty easy to use except for this issue.  Any help would be appreciated.  I am using Coppermine 1.4.9

Works for me, I rated http://sunfirestables.com/albums/displayimage.php?pos=-1 with a 5 and it counted the vote. When you tried the script in that thread what did it say?

Nibbler,

It must be my computer then.  I thought I had tried this function out at my work computer with the same results, but will try again.  As for what I get with that other code put into the ratepic.php, it is a white page with these words on it: referer not sent.

I take it as something is occuring due to the cookie?  I have cleared my cookies and tried to make sure that cookies are accepted from the website, but I still get that message.  Please let me know if you have any tips for me on my end, but my big thanks for letting me know that the vote function does work for someone.

It means you have your browser or some security software on your PC that is setup to block the referrer. Try disabling it.
