Hi,

I have followed various instructions on how to solve the above issue with no success.Attached is the URL to the website. An account for user "Test Account" has been set up and the password is "password". Permissions to the album and directories within have been been setup to 777 and the picture I attempted to upload has a dimension of 640x400 and a size of 25Kb . The settings for the thumbnail cover this adequately.
Error message after following insruction in the documentation and uploading via HTTP is:

"The file 'albums/userpics/10001/newyear.JPG' can't be inserted in the album

Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image.

File: /home/kenyanas/public_html/gallery/db_input.php - Line: 402 "

<http://www.kenyanassociation-switzerland.ch/gallery/index.php>

Debug output is available on request.

Thank you inadvance

What is your method of resizing?
If you are using Image Magic check the IM Path
if you are using GD check your php info for GD availability
‍I don't answer to PM with support question
Please post your issue to related board

Sami,

Thanks for your intervention. Firstly, I am webhosted and secondly I have observed from the debug info that I am using GD for resizing. Is this an issue for the webhoster?

Appreciate your assistance.

- your test account did not work for me !

Login as an admin and go to:

config => Files and thumbnails advanced settings => Method for resizing images
and check the value

If it's Image magic then check the Path to ImageMagick 'convert' utility (example /usr/bin/X11/)
it should be correct path
or
if it's GD then check your php info by looking at your debug info , GD should be enable with php.ini
