change pic with another pic

Hi all,
I have an album with 242 pics. For example i want to renew pic 211, because it is broken.
I delete the pic as admin with the "Delete this File" button in the gallery.
The following message says thumb,normal and the pic itself delete ok.
Now i copy a new pic with the name 211 inside the album directory and start the MassImportPlugin.
I get the message, 1 pic to add, ok.
The album directory on my hdd shows the right NEW pics, thumb,normal and 211, but inside
coppermine the old pic will be show again.
In the fileinformation i can see, the pic was added today, the old pic was added a week ago.

I hope you can understand my prob (bad english)

The massImportPlugin doesn't get supported but on the thread that deals with it. If you have issues with regular uploads, do as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs.

sry if the post is not on the right position, but i am not sure where is the problem.
Is it possible that the mistake is not on the plugin, but rather a database problem from coppermine??
