I have run the bridge manager as directed to integrate the forum and gallery.  Here are the settings:

Coppermine install: http://www.chinadigitalscrapbooks.com/gallery
Forum install: http://www.chinadigitalscrapbooks.com/forums
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.10
Forum version: 1.1.1
Test user account: test_user/testing

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.chinadigitalscrapbooks.com/forums
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forums/
Use post-based groups?:  0

On my Mac, in any browser, even after clearing cookies, the bridge does not work.  When I log in at the forums, it logs me in.  When I click on the gallery link, it takes me back to the forum login (the gallery is set not to allow visitors to view).  I log in again, same thing happens.  This has also happened to one of the new users and just happened to me on a PC on a brand new install of Firefox.  Is this an issue with the new version of SMF?  I did an install just like this with the old version of SMF and did not have this issue.  I know the settings are right, is there anything I can do to fix this?  If not, does the phpBB bridge work more consistently?  I don't want to reskin another forum, but I want this to work.

Thanks!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Is that in the documentation?  Not trying to harass you, just wondering how I missed that or if I did.  Either way, thanks again!!
