Next Version Anytime Soon?

Hey -- does anyone know when the next major version might be released?

I am supporting this gallery -- http://www.rainbowseeker.us/gallery/ running 1.3.3 somehow it was insecure and I think people were using db_input to write tens of thousands of spam comments directly to the database  ?? does that make sense?

Anyway, I disabled db_input and suppose I ought to upgrade to 1.4.x but I don't want to upgrade only to have to upgrade again if there is a new version coming out soon.

No one is really using http://www.rainbowseeker.us/gallery/ now so there's no rush for me to upgrade, what do you think? Should I wait if there is a new version coming out soon?

i would just upgrade to 1.4

1.4 is the supported version for now

There are no plans to release 1.5 yet, it is still being developed.

Thanks guys. It sounds like my Mom (who runs www.rainbowseeker.us/gallery) finally got an internet connection in their new house so she wants to start using it again, I guess I'll be upgrading to 1.4.x next week!
