I am  humble user of a coppermine gallery here

http://galootcentral.com/portal/index.php?option=com_copperminevis&Itemid=2

When I try to publish a link to an image, the URL is actually a link to the gallery, and the image appears
to be referred to by it position within the gallery.

This is fine, until I add an image to the gallery, or reorder the gallery.

At the point the old link (which may be in a forum archive) is out of date, even deceptive.

Is there a way to point to an induividual image - note, I don't want to deeplink the JPG itself, I want to be "in" the gallery, just at a particular image.

I have searched/read as much documentation and support forum stuff (here) as a I can, and canont find an answer.

damn. For "gallery" read "album" in the entire post.

Sorry.

Bridges that use CoppermineVis (which we consider a pirate app) are not being supported. To find out why, complain at the jerk who created CoppermineVis and sells it although it is against our license. If you want support, at least re-enable the "Powered by Coppermine" footer that the CoppermineVis bridge so blatantly removes and even boasts that it is legal and OK. It isn't.

I suggest fixing the error at the bottom of your pages first though:
QuoteFatal error: Cannot redeclare template_eval() (previously declared in /home3/galoot/galootcentral-www/portal/components/com_copperminevis/cpg/include/functions.inc.php:707) in /home3/galoot/galootcentral-www/portal/components/com_jcalpro/include/functions.inc.php on line 749

sorry - as I said, I am a humble user/member of the site, not the site owner and/or admin.

Then ask the site owner or admin of that site. We provide support to people who run coppermine on their server. We don't provide support to the end users (i.e. gallery visitors) of those sites. And while you're at it (asking the site owner for support), please tell him abou this thread and that he's using a pirate app.
