Just got it installed and can't log in as admin.

Do you expect help ::)? Then post more details. Usually, a description what you did, the error message you get and a link to your gallery are absolutely mandatory to post.

Scobdive

Oh, Sorry.

The program comes up and has two blank fields :No Image to display" which I assume is the start screen. When I click log in as admin, I get a screen that says " Entering admin mode continue" then it returns back to the same first sereen. I can not log in to set up the program.

OK, so now we know the error message. This explains that the username and password are correct, but your login doesn't stick. However, you failed to do as suggested:

Do so if you need help. I'm not going to beg...

Ok went through and changed a few settings through my FTP and got the admin page. SOLVED

Joachim Müller

For the benefit of others with similar issues you should post what you actually changed. Can't see how the file structure on the webserver should be related though, so I'm interessted to hear more details as well.
Marking thread as "solved" although you haven't properly resolved it.

I have no idea, just played with file settings making them exe and write enabled and it started working. I had already done those suggested. Sorry I did not write down what I did.

Just as a clarification for others: all coppermine files need to be readable for the webserver. PHP-files (that are suppossed to be parsed by the webserver) need to be executable. This does not only apply to coppermine, but to all files on the webserver that are suppossed to be displayed to the site visitor.
Keep in mind as well that some files/folders need to be writable as well (as suggested in the permissions section of the docs).

Hi,
I too have the same problem.
I have got the latest version of copermine and just installed everything to the server.
When i try and log in as Admin i get a meaage that says "welcom Admin" when i click continue it says i do not have permission to access this page.
I have also checked all of the file permisiions and all seem ok and writable.
Does anyone have any sugestions.

Thanks inadvanced for any coments
