Hi all

I wonder if someone could shed some light on this for me.

A client of ours wants to use a gallery to showcase so of their photographers & models photos.

The gallery needs 3 level of security, at this stage, and will run on Joomla. I'll probably install Community Builder to manage extra info on the user registrations. SMF forum will also be integrated, so once a user registeres on the Joomla site, he has access to the galleries, the forum and the ability to upload photos.

The first gallery permissions is public, viewable by everyone.
The second level is the private galleries, viewable only by registered users / members.
And the last one (a bit trickey to me), is one dedicated to imposed nudes & full frontal nudes (both men & woman - this is NOT a porn site, but artistic for nudes). This is the important one, as we need to control access to it.

What we need to accomplish, is the following:
For anyone to publish photos, in any of the three albums, one must register, registration is free. Each registered member should then be limited to 20 photos, with max height x width x dpi (say 800x800 x 72dpi). Then we need to be able to give ratings. And then, once a user reach a certain rating, he / she'll be able to upload more photos (say 40, or so)

For the nudes galery, I need a way to be able to check how old a user is. If the user is older than 18, he / she has access to the nudes / glamor / etc galleries and should also be able to upload to these galleries.

I know this is a mouthfull, but from what I can see, I can setup groups, and there is a mod which could check the user's age, but I'm not sure I could do what I want todo?

Can someone please give me some pointers on this?

We have a strict "one question per thread" policy that you agreed to respect when signing up.

Basically, you asked three questions:

1) How do I bridge? (Answer is: read the documentation, do as suggested there if you need support on bridging issues)
2) Is there a limitation on the number of files a user can upload? (Answer is: no)
3) Is there a feature/mod that allows users to be moved into another group based on image rating (Answer is: no)

I actually asked something which ties three things together. I know how to bridge. But thanx for the rude welcome
