I've recently ran into the "Fatal error :" problem, I have searched the forum and tried to use the debug mode through myphpadmin, but the setting was already on 1, so I returned it to 0 and nothing came up on the cpg so i returned it to 1 and the same thing happened.

I've used this tutorial to use the debug mode
http://coppermine-gallery.net/tutorial/debug_mode.php

My cpg is http://www.ultimatejesse.com/gallery/

Oddly enough I tried it again and got this, after I refreshed it disappeared.

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

Means: ask your webhost for support!

Would you submit a few guesses what it may be?

I'll defently ask my webhost asap.

Guess/Fact: something is fishy with the mySQL server. That's what the error message means. That's why only your webhost can solve this. They should know what to do if you tell them the error message.
