Can't seem to find anyone that wants to embed something in coppermine, for instance, Gallery has header adn footer files you can include in your own content, but I don't seem to see anything like that in Coppermine.

I tried hacking up the index.php page but I gave up after a while of trying. Any pointers on where to look? The index.php page did mention an index.php.php page for stand alone mode, but I can't find it in teh documentation.

Thanks

[edit GauGau] Renamed thread from "Embed html content in Coppermine header/footer" to "Wrapping my html content in Coppermine Header/footer" as per suggestion. [/edit]

err hold off, I tried to search again, and well...foudn I miss spelled header :)

Following some links in my new search.

casperinmd

Ok, I still can't find anything. I don't want to use a custom footer/header, I want to use CPG's existing footer/header and put my content in the main frame.

Any ideas?

casperinmd

THank you!

I am going to reply to that post with a couple key words if you don't mind to help others that think like me ;)

As far as I understood this thread deals with something different: casperinmd, are you trying to come up with custom pages that use the coppermine layout, or are you trying to modify your coppermine layout?

This thread is labelled "Embed html content in Coppermine header/footer", so if you want to accomplish this, just edit themes/yourtheme/template.html and add HTML-driven static content as you see fit.

casperinmd

Ok, I think I need to rename the thread, you are right, it should read: Wrapping my html content in Coppermine Header/footer

I have a google map html page I want to use with the existing Coppermine header/footer so it blends in with CPG. If I can't rename the post, please do so for me.

Joachim Müller

Did as you suggested and renamed the thread. Nibbler's suggestion should then apply for your request. Did it solve your question?

casperinmd

Sure did, worked like a champ! Thanks for your help.
