Control panel toolbar missing

Hi,
I'm trying to upload photos into my gallery keeps coming up with the message:

Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files

and I cant see the control panel toolbar at the top of the page now.

Can someone point me in the right direction

Well, then you'll have to create an album first I guess .

For details, do exactly as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs.

I have a album created, its strange I can do it on other computers, upload and see the control panel, but for some reason on this computer I can't add photos or see the toolbar, I'm logged in as admin, still gets the same message

Don't try to hijack unrelated threads. This thread deals with upload issues, not with the question "how to create an album". In the future, start a thread of your own for your issues after having read the docs and after having searched the board. You create albums using the album manager (see docs). If you're logged in as admin, click on "albums" on the admin menu. If you're logged in as non-admin, click on "create/order my albums". You can only do so if the admin has allowed you to have a personal gallery. Non-admin users can not create albums in public galleries (i.e. categories that were created by the admin).

As the original thread starter "petal" failed to reply within time, I guess that he was able to solve his issues and just failed to resolve this thread, so I'm marking this thread as "closed" and locking it.
