Uploading .ico files - how to ?

Hi

I have set up a Coppermine gallery to upload and catalog icon files.

However I cannot upload them. At first it would not let me at all, despite the allowed filetypes being set to 'ALL' for images.

After searching the forum I found a plugin that allows me to change filetypes in the DB, so I installed that plugin and added .ico files to the list of allowed formats.

Now coppermine lets me upload these files, but:

- the icon is not displayed correctly at the album assignment screen (just shows a red x)
- I get the following message when clicking continue on the album assignment screenL:

The previous file could not be placed.

You have successfully placed all the files.

I have both imagemagick and GD installed.
I have tested imagemagick command line conversion of .ico files and it functions without problem.

Can anyone help me get this working?

Read the upload troubleshooting section of the docs and the following section named "asking for support on upload issues" and do exactly as suggested there.
