Help with User Galleries

I am wondering is there is any ways to cut one step from getting to the 'actual' user gallery.

1.   on the main page you click on the text link to the user albums
2.   next page you see the different user albums & a thumbnail for each
3.   next page you see a thumbnail for the album you clicked on (This is also where the user sets the Properties...
4.   Next you go to a page that shows thumbnails of the different pictures in the album
5.   Next step you go to one of the large pictures and the film strip

Is there any way to cut down the number of steps?  I have had some complaints about how long it takes to get to the actual album.  Some people do not even realize that if they keep clicking they will get to larger picture...

I would love to go right from step 2 to step 4, but  step 3 is important for setting the Properties.  Is there any way to eliminate perhaps step 4?

Another thing that would be great is to have the user galleries displayed on the main page under the owners albums.  This would cut out one step.  Is this possible?
