hi, i've got the script installed 3 times for 3 different subdomains: _fanart, _media and _gallery and they all use customised designs.

problem is, that the user uploads don't work with those designs! i either get the error of no file being moved or if the rights are set right. followed the upload troubleshooting page step by step.

anyways, as soon as i use one of the coppermine designs that are installed by default, it works again, the uploading i mean.

maybe anyone got an idea what exactly is causing this problem? figure it must be a template/theme/skins related problem...

If you read the upload troubleshooting page why don't you do what it says and post the information we need to help you?

i can't give u access to my server for you guys to check my template now, can you? what use is it to give you a test account if that doesn't control the template..?!

i didn't post the test account details because i thought you might say something like 'well, post your template then please, as we haven't come across this problem'.

anywho, i rewrote the template, everything worked up until the second that i adjusted the user group settings to max. space that the admins and registered users can use for their uploads (both got 2,147,483,647kb) and set their upload to 1 and 0 to uri-uploads. both can have personal galleries. i also adjusted the max. size of an upload file to 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,0kb and the same goes for the max. width in px.

maybe one of these settings are causing the problem? it tells after trying to upload to check if the rights are set right, but i didn't change a thing on the server. i only changed the settings as ppl wanna upload rather big scans.

just changed the settings back to 1024kb max. size and 2048px max width and upload worked with test account.

changed both settings to 20,000kb/px and it stills works.

thanks for nothing, i guess

Thanks for your time I would say, as it takes time to read and reply.
