Hi Folks,

setting up Coppermine; all seemed working fine until I tried to set ImageMagick as convert utility.  I have since reverted back to GD2x, but my batch adding is still nuked.

what happens is, I go to Batch Add Files, choose the folder (yes, all are 777), press OK, and *presto* file list is generated.  Used to show picture "icons" (tiny thumbs) on right, now just that little "missing image" with the "x" in it.  I check all the images nonetheless and go thru the "insert selected files" process, the "results" column also shows little "x" placeholders whiere the result code normally goes.  So, I'm not sure even what the result is.

(back a moment to ImageMagick ... pardon my ignorance on this module, but does it need to run its own "install" from the Apache root, etc?  if so, I'm screwed because I can't do that.  I assumed just upload all the ImageMagick "bin" files to a folder under Plugins ...?  hope i havent ruined my install!  I used this as a path to ImageMagick: /home/httpd/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/plugins/ImageMagick.  Running Plesk6 on Apache.)

thanks for any helpful pointers!!

From the FAQ: What's ImageMagick and how can I get it?:
QuoteImageMagick is another graphical library like GD/GD2 for image manipulation. If you are running your own webserver, you can download it at imagemagick.org. There are sources available for Unix, Linux, Mac and Windows executables, as well as binary packages for various server operating systems. You cannot install ImageMagick if you are subscribing to a webhost.
