I am no computer genius and I not sure if this is the right term but I have just installed coppermine onto my server, it was working correctly even though it was just in the set up stage.

I ran the bridging manger and now when I try to login I am taken to the following web page

http://www.ultimatewealthpackage.com/index.php?hop=httpwww&mode=login&redirect=http%253A%252F%252Fwww.bigcatch.com.au%252Fgallery%252F.

It appears to be some kind of advertising/spyware.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks Lisa

You did not try to add somekind of advertorial program to your site ? As the ultimate wealth site appears to be a site where you as website owner can earn money by getting people to go to ultimatewealth when visiting your own site.

Ask your hoster if they did any thing to cause this.

So that could be bridge issue ,
Do as suggested here

‍I don't answer to PM with support question
Please post your issue to related board

Not related to initial install, but (as Sami suggested) to a bridging attempt that went wrong. Moving from install to bridging support board.

@bigcatch: doesn't look like a hacking attempt to me, but rather a matter of PEBCAK (see Hein's avatar ;)), so there probably is no reason to be alarmed. Turn bridging off (using the bridge manager - as suggested in the docs) and everything should be fine.

Just want to say thanks for the suggestions, I have done a complete reinstall and appears to be fixed, I have not attempted to run the bridging manager again yet though.  Thanks again.

OK, glad that you were able to solve this for you. Marking this thread accordingly. However, I want to point out that performing a re-install wouldn't have been necessary and is not a bright move if you run into issues with Coppermine. Coppermine is not a desktop application that you repeatedly install and uninstall - it's a server-app. I'm not posting this to lecture you, but for the benefit of others with similar issues who might come across this thread.
