Hello,

I've installed Coppermine to the letter but it all comes to a stop at the install.php stage.  I've placed the http://www.yoursite (yes, I changed it to my own website)/coppermine/install.php in my browser but it returns with a "not found".  All the files have been installed properly and the install.php file is located on the remote side.

My ISP doesn't entertain Image Magick due to server issues.  So, Coppermine should be working with GD, which is present.

Solutions please, if you have any.

- Where did you upload coppermine files , under a folder or www root ?
- Post a link to that place

I am having a similar installtion problem. This is my third site in two days I have installed and the first two were flawless but now I am receiving this error when I try to pull up the page:

Fatal error :

While executing query "SELECT * FROM cpg_config" on 0

mySQL error: Table 'djsable_copp1.cpg_config' doesn't exist[/b]

It seems as a Fantastico mess !
BTW check if you have a sql folder there and all files under that folder are okay .

yes, i did use fantastico to install, but this worked on my first two urls within fantastico....what do you recommend to remedy?

also, There is a sql directory but it does not seem to be in use. Same with my other domains that are running coppermine gallery just fine.

Sami

Fantastico known to be buggy and outdated
That's why we don't recommend nor support such an installation
You see , your first two installation goes fine but they (Fantastico & Cpanel) probably change their script at the time of installation of 3rd gallery (Fantastico is a part of Cpanel hosting pakage that usually update it self daily) and that cause problem !

If you need clean install and bug free gallery please download last stable version from our site (download link is above) and do as suggested under documentation , it's dead easy task
