All of a sudden most of the files are showing as missing. I have had this system up for over a year without any problemss and now I have this.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

hmm-i have noticed that when you get the url of a broken image in your gallery it says http://www2.asofsky.com:7071/coppermine/albums/wpw-f9/thumb_IMG_4646.jpg

maybe try CHMODDING that dir to 0777 (not sure if that would work)

your webhost may have changed something on your server config (e.g. a new version of php along with a new version of gd). Check if anything has changed with your server config (using phpinfo).

Something strange with your file permissions.  If yout attempt to access directly, you get a 401 (401.3, actually, but IIS is just special that way  :)  ).  

Compare the NTFS permissions between one of the available pics and one of the unavailable pics.
