I have downloaded copper mine cpg1414 to a folder in my public_html/copper mine.when I tried to install, the  following ERROR show up.Please advise what went wrong  or this was not the correct version I should install. What did this standalone mean?I didinot instal NUKE portal, I installed Joomla and soholaunch as my main website.

Thank You

Xuank

ERROR
You seem to be trying to install the standalone Coppermine into your Nuke portal.
This version can only be used as standalone!
Some server setups might display this warning even though you don't have a nuke portal installed - if this is the case for you, continue with the install. If you are using a nuke portal, you might want to take a look into CpgNuke or use one of the (unsupported) coppermine ports - do not continue!

If you do not use the Nuke Portal, as it states in the "error", just continue with the install, i.e., disregard the Error Message.  At least that is what I do.  Just make sure that you have your databases, username and password correct.  Then follow the procedure as outlined in the Documentation.

Hi, I have solved the problem, I think it was the host company does not support  coppermine as I did not find such scripts in the c/panel.I have two domains one with vodahost and I managed to install at one of my domain hosted with vodahost with no problem at all, though this was my first experience with copper mine manual installation.

Probably lunarpages.com doesnot support coppermine as I found such installation problem on my the other domain hosted with it. Thank very much

Don't use auto-installers, they suck anyway.
Marking thread as "solved", although you haven't done as suggested.
