My co-admin is having problems uploading files to my Coppermine site, she's the only one having problems.  She says that when she tries to upload a file, she doesn't get any error messages but her browser seems to take a long time to upload the file (it doesn't stop for ages) then she's returned to the site & no file has been uploaded.  My site is www.eternallyronan.com/multimedia, any ideas on what could be causing this, she is not uploading files that are too large.

Read the upload troubleshooting section of the docs and do exactly as suggested there if you need support on upload issues.

Sorry, I have re-read the upload troubleshooting & the only thing I can see that I forgot to do was give you the test user account details, so here they are:

Username: testuser_erm
Password: royvjama77

I got
QuoteYour file was uploaded successfully.

It will be visible after admin approval.
Not a bright move to leave admin approval enabled if you want fast results... ::)

Any help please would be appreciated, I'm frustrated  :-\

Joachim Müller

Uploading works as expected for me, see http://eternallyron.topcities.com/multimedia/displayimage.php?pos=-28
Attach a pic you're having issues with to your reply here.

P.S. This is not a hotline

It's not me who's having the problem, it's my co-admin, anyway, I've just spoken to her & she said it's video files she's having the problem with, not pictures, I don't understand why she's having the problems because she's not uploading files that are too large or in the wrong format(s) Also, another user (non-admin) is now having the same problem, however I am still having no problems at all.  I do wish my co-admin had told me the problem was with video files in the first place, I might've got this problem sorted out faster ::)

Your co-admin should use FTP upload plus batch-add to upload larger files - this includes video files as well.
I tried uploading a 1.1 MB avi file which worked fine as well - see http://eternallyron.topcities.com/multimedia/displayimage.php?pos=-29
Read up the documentation to find out about server and client sided restrictions of http uploads. Read the sticky thread on this board as well.
