"Documentation and Manual" http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm
has "old" url in it.

For example section:
1.1 Technical requirements

has urls:
(see What's ImageMagick and What is GD)
http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/install_faq.htm#whatIsImageMagick
http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/install_faq.htm#WhatIsGD

The file install_faq.htm was renamed to faq.htm

Also the file index_fr.htm refers in it to file faq.htm but there is file faq_fr.htm
So file index_fr.htm must refers to file faq_fr.htm

Actually, it's not an "old" URL, but a brand new one - the section you refer to has been backported from cpg1.5.x

Thanks for spotting. Fixed in svn.

As suggested above: no file was renamed.

The French index and FAQ pages are not up-to-date and are a user-contribution. They may contain broken links. The French doc files are not officially maintained. Since the contributors of those files have joined the team some time ago they might want to fix this (or may not).

Marking thread as "fixed".

question is: is it necessaray to spend time for maintaining those files or for making new translation for the 1.5 version  ;)

Hm, this decision is of course up to you. The "flaws" that Makc666 reports are very minor and could easily get fixed. However, there are a lot of discrepancies already between the english docs for cpg1.4.x and the French translation, so I'm not sure it is worth while to spend the effort to go through the entire documentation for cpg1.4.x.
If I were you, I'd wait for the feature freeze stage for cpg1.5.x and then start translating the docs into French if you feel like it. As the docs now consist of several files it will be going to be easier to distribute the workload among several translators.
