Private albums

I hope this is in the correct posting section. I'm not sure if this can be dine so Ill ask.
At the moment my gallery has all of the albums set to registered users and one album set to public. The idea is that non registered users can see a sample set of pictures from the public album.
Although this works fine, I have two problems.
1 I cannot find any settings that sets new albums (whether created by a registered users or admin) to private by default. At the moment all newly created albums are public by default.
2 If an unregistered user views a picture from the public album and then chooses a slide show. The slide show displays pictures from private albums that the user hasn't got permission to see.

You might want to use the Search option a bit more before posting a question

Hi and thanks for the reply.
I will keep the one question per post in mind in future. I looked at the thread but as the last post says it doesn't cover making private albums for the view of registered users only a default setting. I have search the forums extendedly but only came across one subject that referred to V1.2.
Do you think I should have posted this as a mod or hack request?
