Hi,

I've been using coppermine 1.4.6 on http://www.theundutchables.nl for a long time. Now I can't upload pictures anymore.
Tried to solve it with upgrading it to 1.4.16 (stable), but this doesn't solve anything.

I've checked permissions, but nothing has changed. Any idea?

When I upload a picture I see a black stripe, nothing more. By clicking on "continue" (sorry I use a dutch interface don't know the exact english words) it says:

Het voorgaande bestand kon niet geplaatst worden. (last file could not be added)

Je hebt met succes alle bestanden geplaatst. (you succesfully added all files)

You might want to restore the powered by CPG line first before asking for support. And i can't see which version you are running now but if it is indeed 1.4.6. as you say you might want to upgrade first to 1.4.16

TheLostProphet

I'm running version 1.4.16 right now. And I never deleted the "powered by coppermine" line. Although it's nearly vissible in the black context of the site

Hein Traag

Make it visible then because right now it does not show unless you select it with the mouse.

Read up on Upload troubleshooting here: http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#upload_trouble

This might be related to silly_safe_mode

TheLostProphet

done, you can use test twice to log in.

It's pretty strange, cause we didn't change anything. The last uploaded pictures are flipt vertical to...

Hein Traag

Try switching to GD2 as the image processing part of the site. I get a ImageMagick 127 error when trying to upload a picture.

TheLostProphet

It has always been GD2, somehow it's ImageMagick now. I've changed it and it seems to be solved. Strange it's changed.

Thanks!

Don't forget to change the colour setting for the Powered by Coppermine line. It's mandatory and shows other people where to go if they want to know what you are using for your gallery.

** In dutch: En het toont wel respect als je die lijn weer zichtbaar maakt, voor de developers van cpg ;) **

Cheers
