hi all,

i just copied, all the folders and files on the server and changed the permission on the 'include', 'albums', 'userpics' and 'edit' folder to 777.
now i have the following error message:
http://www.pmn.ch/pascal/cpg1416/install.php

i'm really sure, that all this 4 folders have the right permissions. so what can i do to bring the photogallery up und running?

cheers

They don't have the right permissions. Ask your host to help you if you don't know what the correct perms are or cannot apply them.

hmmm....

i checked the permission with my ftp client. all folders 777
so i write a mail to my provider, to get more information. i hope this will help!

Don't check permissions, but apply them. Most FTP clients can't display the actual permissions. On your server, other settings than 777 may be needed. Read the permissions section of the docs and do as suggested there - that includes asking your webhost for support if you can't figure out, simply because we can't help you with that, as we don't know your webserver.

jippie!

it works now. the provider changed something on the server. i have to set the permissions by using the web-configurator tool from the provider.

thanks for support!
