The image is simply too small. Please read the first posting in this thread carefully, it tells you how to avoid scroll bars.

Just released v2.10.

Changes since v2.00:
---------------------
- new: completed support for flash (SWF) files
- fixed: unwanted selections in Firefox 3 when using close buttons
- fixed: bad animation performance in IE (cursor graphics issue)

Please make sure to correctly uninstall any previous version before installing this version, and empty your browser cache when done!

Have fun!
Timo

Timo, you do sleep sometimes don't you?  ;) (p.s. Thanks for this great plugin)

Timos,

I just updated EnlargeIt! from v2.0beta10 to v2.1.  It seems that now when I set the "information" button to "open intermediate page" the little animation will start but the link to the intermediate page for that photo will not open.

Gallery is at http://philmontforum.com/cpg

I have this problem with both IE6 and FireFox v3.  Any ideas on what I need to fix?

The beta version previously installed worked perfectly.  Thanks for a great plugin!

I'm a bit tired so it is quite possible i did not read it but has it been asked before if enlargeit can automaticly go to the next page of thumbnails?

A typo in the Js file. Fixed with 2.11. Please update.

Thanks for your report!

I don't think this can be realized with a plugin alone, because ATM EnlargeIt! doesn't know if there are more pictures of this album. But hey - you're a CPG developer: You're invited and very welcome to modify the core code accordingly, I'll do the corresponding Javascript modifications.

for the sef_url it's maybe possible to change the url picture
with swfadress and ajax  http://www.asual.com/swfaddress/

maybe you know this technology

Timos-Welt

Nice idea, I'll consider sth like this for a future version.

Hi Timos

This looks like an excellent plugin, which i've installed (along with slider and imageflow).

Slider and Imageflow work fine, and the image enlarges when clicked on.

However in the thumbnail view, enlargeIt doesn't appear to be active/enabled/working? Clicking on an image still takes me to the intermediate page. The enlargeIt admin button appears and all the options are configured fine, but no behaviour has changed when I click on an image in the thumbnail view.

What have I done wrong?

mikesalway

Just some more info, sorry:

I can get to the JS fine: http://www.mikesalway.com.au/gallery/plugins/enlargeit/js/enlargeit.js
My gallery link: http://www.mikesalway.com.au/gallery
Example thumbnails page: http://www.mikesalway.com.au/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=44

and when I click on an image, there's no EnlargeIt.

After reading the entire thread, it seems others who had this problem were due to bugs with MaxAspect etc, but they've all been fixed.

It doesn't appear to be theme-based, as if I change the theme to classic, I get the same issue.

Thanks in advance for your help.

On an additional note, is it possible that the description opens up beneath the image, instead of having to click "i" for info?

I noticed it in another similar plugin (highslide) - I liek the way the description comes out beneath without having to click on "i".

At least, it could be configurable for the user as to whether to show it.

Cheers

>when I click on an image, there's no EnlargeIt

EnlargeIt! seems to work very well with your gallery.
Opening http://www.mikesalway.com.au/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=lastup&cat=0 in IE and Firefox shows no problem at all here - animation works fine, buttons work fine, navigation works fine. Maybe you should empty your browser cache and simply try your gallery again?

>is it possible that the description opens up beneath the image

Has been requested quite some times now; I'll consider it for a future version. Sorry, no release date yet.

Hi Timos

You are correct - it does now work in IE and FF. I was testing in Chrome. It still doesn't work in Chrome from the thumbnails view - but does work from the Slider and ImageFlow (in Chrome).

Another question - how does one actually see the full size image?

Eg: if you go to this thumbnails page: http://www.mikesalway.com.au/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=15

and click on any of the images, it opens the EnlargeIt! image - then click on the "full size" icon. It loads the full size picture but still displays it in the intermediate size. There's no scrollbars or any way to actually show the full 1200px wide image.

How do we do this?

Thanks again.

Ok i've answered my own questions.

It does work in Chrome - I was *logged in* and the option "Enable EnlargeIt! in admin mode" was OFF! doh!

I also figured this one out - by setting the option "Show Button Maximise" to "Yes, as Pop-up window".
That opens the full size image in a new window as the full dimensions.

I'm still not sure what the default value of "Yes" is supposed to do then, as if the image is larger than the default EnlargeIt! view there's no way to see the full size.

In addition to my previous request to show the description as a expanding area under the image, I think the "Comment" feature should also appear underneath the image rather than as a new page where you can't see the image anymore. Just a small suggestion :)

Thanks for a great plugin.

Works fine here in Chrome. I'd recommend you think about your skin again to avoid the vertical scroll bar in some browsers (XHTML problem). EnlargeIt! doesn't really work well with vertical scrolled layouts.

EnlargeIt! at the moment can only use the viewport of your browser window to display images, and this one depends on your screen resolution and size of the browser window. The correct solution is to use the pop up function as you did.

This is a fantastic plug-in. Took a while for me to work out how to get it working, but the tip about ensuring that the server folders had the correct permissions did the trick. Thanks for all your work in creating this, Timos.

I registered (with a mis-spelt username!) mainly to say thanks for this, but also to say thanks to all the Coppermine gurus who frequent the forum and whose tips I have been reading avidly for the last few weeks - your help is very much appreciated.

hi Timos
Thanks for a great piece of software. I really like it.
For a friends site i am making, I am testing your plugin.

I also have Stramms photo_shop plugin.
When using EnlargeIt! I can not add a photo to the cart.

Is there a way to implement this like the other buttons (comments, ratings)
or is there another way to add photo's to the cart while using EnlargeIt! ?

http://saadjasim.com/gallery

thanks again
Ronald

Timos-Welt

It should be quite easy for Stramm to make the neccessary AJAX snippets - he's a real coppermine expert, so simply ask him. I don't know anything about the photo shop plugin and don't use it myself, so I won't create the corresponding snippets, but I'll surely integrate them once they are done.
