I am currently using v1.4.12 and love it, but the person who originally set it up for me put his email address in the admin's profile and no matter what I try, I cannot seem to get rid of it.  I looked over all of the scripts to see if I could change it through there, but could not find a way to remove it. I am now stumped, so I am asking the people who know it best.  Can this be changed and if so, how?

thanks

Upgrade to 1.4.18 first before support is talked about. Your are 6 versions behind the current stable version 1.4.18

I updated to 1.4.18, now what should I do to change the email addresses?

Are you saying that when you go to: Admin>Config>General settings>Gallery administrator email  you cannot change the entry? Or you can change it but then it reverts?

justy311

No, when signed in as the Admin and you click on My profile, there is an email address listed. How do I change that email, is that even possible?

QuoteAdmin>Config>General settings>Gallery administrator email

That doesn't do it though, it is my email address in the Admin>Config>General settings>Gallery administrator email, but when I go to My profile, it is the person who set up my Coppermine...

So what? That's the account information of the admin as a user account. Anyway, if you can't change it, register another account, make that account an admin, log out, log in with the new admin account, then go to the old admin's profile and change his email address.

Thanks, Joachim Müller, I would have never figured it out.

thanks again

Another way would be, to change the e-mail-address in the database via phpmyadmin/mysqldumper etc.
