[Solved]: Problem moving host and domain

I'm looking to move my gallery from one host to another and also to using a different domain. I've followed the FAQ on moving hosts but now I get a blank page except for the words 'Fatal Error'

Initially I was getting a file permission error message but this was to do with the hosting companies restriction on certain file permissions. I sorted this and now get the 'Fatal Error' message.

I've also ran a repair on all the tables in the database and ran update.php

Is there anything else I should be doing?

I not sure if this is a gallery problem or a hosting problem - I already have another gallery running on the same domain (different database) but it was a hosting transfer but to the same domain name.

Many thanks. It turns out that there was a table missing - looks like my sql dump from the old host was complete. Going to look into it.

Just on a side note - why am I not getting notifications to replies to this thread? I have 'Notify me' clicked but no notifications

Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction - finally got it sorted but I do have one more question - The table 'hit_stats', how important is it (if at all). This table is 27mb in size and I'm having problems inserting the data back into it. Even zipped I'm having problems inserting it. Looking at the gallery all the view figures:

'2629 files in 59 albums and 24 categories with 0 comments viewed 776202 times'

seem to be right so do I need to worry about the data in this table?

That data is what is collected when you enable 'Keep detailed hit statistics' in config. If you don't need to preserve the stats then you can just leave that table empty.
