We performed a full upgrade from version 1.4.18-> 1.4.19, as per the related instructions. We also upgraded the DB, as suggested.

We are facing the following issue: The settings within the admin panel are that neither the edit of file information is allowed in the detailed image view nor the filename & username fields (the latter through the display_fields plugin) are shown. However, they are displayed !!!!!!

I just double checked the settings for both above through the admin panel and the DB itself, and everything seems OK. However, the displayimage.php displays everything, regardless the setting.

Can you please advise? Note that no PHP errors are recorded in the logs, MySQL v5.0.51 and PHP 5.2.6 on Windows IIS 6 Webserver.

Check your PM...

I haven't asked for a PM. I clearly said that you need to post the link. Turn the SEF_URL plugin off if it acts up - it doesn't go supported any longer.

As I explained in the PM, I sent it via PM for safety because of the nature of the problem.

Tried your recommendation and removed the SEF plugin. However, the initial problem still remains and the "Edit File Information" is still displayed...

Any other suggestion?
