can some one explain how the category and Album upload system work? I have been wanting uploaded images to go into the created categories, But during time of Upload only the Album List is Provided. I want uploaded images in their designated directories insted of the album list. Also How do I Place the cartegory links at a differnt location rather than on top of the Images at my Index page.
Thanks.

Nibbler

You don't upload images into categories. Images go into albums and albums (optionally) go into categories.

okay understood. But is it the Site moderator/admin's duty to put albums into which categories listed or registered users can equally upload files to their created albums and then put them into whichever category they want?
Cheers.

I guess I did not word my question right...
1.How Do I/Users Place albums into the Category List at the Index Page.

I think for good site design I want my  links in the sidebars or header and my images seen. If you check the site www.americaoncamera.com, you will notice the category menu has pushed the images Below The Fold:
2. How do I set the  homepage to display the Images atop of the Category list, instead of the other way round?

I have noticed Coppermine Shows a slideshow of all uploaded images?
3. How do I prevent the Slide Show from displaying all uploaded images and to display only images  selected from an album/category?

What did I violate here? Did i start a new thread or explained my earlier post. Are you the forum hitler or what? Cool down man.

Joachim Müller

I wasn't upset when I posted my reply, so there's no need to cool down. Being called what you called me however is an insult, which I don't find a clever strategy if you're really looking for help. Your initial question was answered, and you posted some follow-up questions that are not related to your initial question, so I reminded you of board rules. Posting an insult as reply is not what I would call "cool behaviour".

Brother I am sorry if offended with that comment. You seem not Offended. I did not realze my word joke could look like an insult. Thanks for thr Alert. Anyway I just Logged in after all those times and saw your Post. Sorry. I salute.
