Hi All,

Hope you're all doing well.

I just need some clarification on the documentation and this line...

- Except for the "albums" directory, upload all of the new files and directories making sure not to overwrite the include/config.inc.php file, your anycontent.php file or the albums directory.

Does this mean...

I will not upload my backed up albums directory to the current installation?

Am I uploading the new 1.4 version and writing over my existing installation, but excluding uploading the include/config.inc.php file, your anycontent.php file or the albums directory so as no to overwrite those already my current installation?

As always, thanks for the fine support.

Best regards,
Marc

you can safely upload all new cpg1.4 files on your server. Your album directory will not be erased if the new one does not contain any pictures.
If you have a custom theme, you must upgrade them to. If the custom theme name is the same as default provided theme from the new pack, be sure to nor overwrite this folder

Thank you.

And will the Bridge Manager work with the latest phpBB3?

Joachim Müller

Not out of the box - you will need the new bridge file for phpbb3. Not related to the upgrade. Please respect the "one issue per thread" policy in the future.
