Hello,

I have the following issue when trying to bridge Coppermine 1.4.21 and phpBB 3.0.4:

After enabling the bridging I cannot log in to CPG. I am directed to the forum when clicking the log in link from CPG but after
entering the username and password there it forwards me to the forum main page. I checked the status of CPG after that and it
shows me logged out.
Interestingly this only happens if I use the whole www-address in the bridgemanager-settings. If I take away the www-part it
forwards me correctly (to CPG) after logging in on my forum but I'm still logged out on CPG.
I've tried to find a thread that could have helped as people seemed to have similiar problems, but so far I've found nothing
that would have helped (mainly deleting cookies from browser cache and refreshing the forum style sheet).

I'm not quite sure but is CPG supposed to use the forum's user database after bridging or is it supposed to write the data
from the forum database to its own? As I checked the CPG user database after bridging and there were only the two normal
accounts (mine and the testing account). I searched the installation docs and I believe the answer is yes to writing user
data, as it warns that all existing users and albums in CPG will be lost after bridging. In this case the problem of course
would be that CPG doesn't get the data from forum, but why doesn't CPG get it?

Coppermine install: http://www.huupfungc.net/forum/hegall/
Forum install: http://www.huupfungc.net/forum/phpBB3/
Coppermine version: cpg 1.4.21
Forum version: phpBB 3.0.4
Test user account: CPG: tester / testing
                 forum: tester / tester

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.huupfungc.net/forum/phpBB3
Relative path to BBS's config file:  ../phpBB3/
Use post-based groups?:  0
Cookie name/prefix: phpbb3_peqgq

I've used the phpbb3.inc.php -file that can be found from this thread: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,53678.0.html
Added the needed code for phpBB3 to bridgemgr.php. I also added that optional code for ucp.php (tried with and without that code though).
And I changed the admin group number in phpbb3.inc.php -file from 5 to 9.
Debug-mode is also enabled in CPG.

Your forum's cookie domain (.forum.huupfungc.net) is invalid. Set it to .huupfungc.net and clear your cookies.

Coppermine uses the forum's user table directly. It doesn't make a copy or import the users.

Thank you very much, it helped =)
Was quite the minimalistic error as I feared, but at least I'm a bit wiser again.
