Even after reading some of the previous post with similar issues, i still can't seem to get it to work. Ive clear cookies, changed cookie settings, checked the necessary files and still can't login.

Are you actually using the phpbb3 bridge that is available as separate download? You can't use the phpbb bridge file that comes with cpg1.4.x out of the box: those bridge files only work for phpbb2.

Singing1stTenor

I am using the one that was available for download, and i modified the manager file as specified

Double check you entered the cookie name correctly. Make sure there isn't a space or something at the end.

Singing1stTenor

on the phpBB3 en the cookie is fine, no spaces. On the end of the coppermine, i can't edit the name of the cookie.

Have fixed the problem manually. Had to go into the database and input the value manually, for whatever reason it was not reading it.

Joachim Müller

What value? Into which field? Please resolve your threads properly for the benefit of others with similar issues.

Singing1stTenor

my apologies....
i inputted my cookie name into the database manually, which i believe is on the 2nd page of the bridge table under cookie_name

Joachim Müller

OK, thanks for your clarification attempt. When bridging, the name of the cookie isn't stored in the database afaik, but the prefix.
Just as a clarification for others with similar issues: this thread deals with the cookie name of the app you bridge coppermine with. It doesn't deal with coppermine's cookie name, which can be configured in coppermine's config (see screenshot).
