Hello!

I'm been reading other post in the forum but I didn't find how to solve this error.

1º- When I click in jUploader an alert pop-up appears:

2º after this, the plugin appears good, but when I click in ulpoad appears this error appears:

Hi,

The applet can't access to the url you've configured in the main Coppermine Configuration Panel.

1) Check it is correct.
2) Check that there is no special right access (.htaccess with a static password, for instance). If yes, check the JUpload configuration page.
3) Check if any firewall (local to the computer for instance), can prevent java code to access your web server.

Hi.

I have same problem.

3.5.0. work but 3.5.1 and 3.5.2.rc1 not work!!!

3.5.2. not test.

etienne_sf

Hi,

I don't get your point here:

1) You say 3.5.2 good
2) Your smiley after the URL is no happy (and the word 'bat' looks like a typo).

So, question, to be sure: is your issue solved ?

(if yes, can you mark this thread as solved?)

Sorry. Now is OK.  :o Thanks.

Hello,

i'm checked the acess URL, that's right.
i haven't any firewall in my pc, i turn off Nod 32 antivirus but jupload doesn't work.

'Check that there is no special right access (.htaccess with a static password, for instance). If yes, check the JUpload configuration page.'

i don't understand exactly the meaning of this, the .htacess is default of my server, i never modified it.  in the jUpload configuration page 'basicHttpAuthentication ' is empty (default).

I don't understand why jUploader doesn't works on my coppermine, please help!

And thanks by the other replies.

bye

Hi,

  I checked the following link:
http://www.losmoxos.com/coppermine/index.php?file=jupload/jupload

It should redirect properly to a Coppermine page (ask for authentication or upload page, depending on the right of the current user).

So: my opinion is that you didn't read enough the manual. You missed this sentence:
click on the 'i' to install it

This is on the plugin management page.

You're right, the result now, is the one I expected. Too bad: I thought I've found the solution !
:o

So, back to the issue: it seems strange to me. I've never seen HEAD error since a lot of time.
Two things:
- Are you using an 'special' web server (I mean other than apache or IIS, or perhaps a very recent version of IIS?)
- Can you try re-install the plugin ?

BTW:
If you give me a temporary admin access (by PM for instance), I can have a look. But note that I'll be off from friday morning to sunday afternoon.

How this?
Where a can change Pach?

etienne_sf

Hi,

  Your URL is wrong:

http://www.2ostrov.ru/gallery/www.2ostrov.ru/gallery/index.php

The URL is probably wrong in the Coppermine configuration. Check it. It must start by http://

in the Coppermine configuration.

Connect as an admin, and click on the Configuration button.

Hum,

This error seems to be linked to the way the applet manages HTTP/1.0 protocol.
I'm working on this one.

Etienne

etienne_sf

Hi,

I tried jupload against a Linux box, configured in HTTP/1.0. It works ok. So my idea may be wrong.

I need an access to a system that doesn't work, to understand what happens. I need to:
1) Repeat the problem. I didn't succeed to do that, on my test box.
2) Deploy new versions, with more debug output, to understand what happens or open the applet in debug mode.

So, in a first time, an access as a standard user would allow me to repeat the problem and open the applet in debug mode.
