Hi all,

The gallery of my friend has recently been recovered from server failure. It was found that no words are shown for all the navigation menus, or description for most of the fields. Please refer to attached screen dumps for details. I have tried re-uploading all the system files, changing the themes and languages but the problem still persists.

Does anyone know the root-cause of this problem?

The URL is http://terence.hkbdc.info/album/

P.S. There are other galleries on the same server but do not have such problem.

Thanks a lot ~

Currently, your page will not load for me. I will take another look later but in the mean time, try viewing with another theme and see if you can see the words then.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

You are running 1.4.12. Update your gallery to the current version.

As mentioned I have tried to change the themes and languages ... but still it does not help.

That's one of the thing which should be done. But apart from update, may I know the possible cause of this problem to prevent further occurences if possible?

Do as suggested, that is the only way to get more help.

No one wants to provide advice for an out of date version that might have an old problem that is now fixed.

No one wants to provide advice for a version that could get hacked and therefore be wasting effort.

Upgrade before you do anything else!

(p.s. your site was painfully slow in loading too.....)
