Hi,

When I turn off register_globals on my 1.4.25 installation, I get the following error at the top of every page:

Warning: strpos() [function.strpos]: Empty delimiter. in [full path removed]\3rdparty\PHP\4.4.7\prepend.php on line 15

The "[full path removed]" part is mine, I didn't want to expose the actual path to the file on my host.

Apart from the error, the application seems to be running just fine.  I just upgraded from 1.4.10, and I hadn't seen the warning to turn off register_globals until after the upgrade, I guess this is a new check that has been added since 1.4.10?

Anyway, any thoughts on how to resolve the issue?

Thanks.

Nibbler

prepend.php is not a Coppermine file. Talk to your webhost.

Hi,

Sorry, about the confusion.  I knew it wasn't a Coppermine file, I was just hoping that someone here had a similar issue, or knew what the problem was.

Thanks,
FD

If you turn off register_globals, coppermine will work fine. If another PHP-driven application is acting up if you turn register_globals off, we can say that the application in question is badly written and you shouldn't use it in the first place. Apart from that, we can not support your with the issues you have with webserver setup or with third party applications, so your question is just invalid and shouldn't have been started here in the first place.

Additionally you ignored board rules (as it's mandatory to post a link to your gallery whenever you start a support thread), so I'm marking this thread accordingly and locking it.
