Have the following issue with Progreen theme:
The home page breaks apart but the other pages stay intact.
Here is the link: http://www.manaboconnexion.com/photo/index.php?theme=progreen
Any known issues with this theme? I've searched in this forum but could not find any answer..
Side note: Other themes are fine.

Coppermine install: http://manaboconnexion/photo/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.19

Thanks

You don't have a theme named "progreen" on your gallery, so the link will do nothing special and display your default theme (fruity). Subsequently, there is nothing for us to look at or support you with.

My bad- I upgraded to 1.4.25 but unsuccessful so I did a restore to an earlier date, which had no Progreen theme.

Now "Progreen" theme is back and the original problem is also back: www.manaboconnexion.com/photo/.

I also installed 1.4.25 to another directory: http://www.manaboconnexion.com/gallery/ .The same problem occurs.

Thanks again for your patience and help.

We do not support out of date versions, that is why you need to upgrade to 1.4.25.

Perform the upgrade as we suggest in our docs and I guarantee that it will not have the slightest impact on any theme.

Installed 1.4.25 and was able to bridge as well, but the original problem is still happening: Progreen theme main page breaks apart.
Website:
http://www.manaboconnexion.com/gallery/

Important note: If config.inc.php with 1.4.25 is used, everything is fine. But if config.inc.php from 1.4.19 install is used, the problem shows up. This is done to avoid moving all photos to the new install.

Is it alright to do this and if not, is there any better way to do it?

Thanks.

I doubt that this is related to include/config.inc.php, as that file didn't come with cpg1.4.19 nor cpg1.5.25 nor any other coppermine version ever. Instead, that file is being created during the initial install. If you have issues with that file, I suspect that you haven't followed upgrade instructions to a T but have done something else instead.

What else can I say: your site's progreen theme differs from the original as far as I can see - you have doctored at least the file template.html. Let me try to put this in a way that doesn't hurt other's feelings: the progreen theme is old, outdated and well - not that well designed. In fact it's designed badly and contains a lot of deprecated elements. I suggest picking another, better theme.

1.4.25 is actually a new install, and yes I've made some minor mods to the theme but I got the same problem with the unmodified one.

Thanks again for the quick response and for your advice. I'll try to look for another theme.
