I have searched the forum and docs with no luck

I have un bridged my gallery from smf forum
i want coppermine to function on its own

i had over 1800 users who uploaded pics to the gallery when bridged
i have since deleted members but albums still remain with all pictures in albums

i want the users to re-register

is it possible for them to get access to their old files
when they reregister .. they get access to someone elses album..

help please
thank you

Not really. As you probably have worked out, SMF took control of all the registration and now you have removed that bridge you users are not registered. Each user is assigned a user ID which ties them to their images. Now you have removed the bridge and users are re-registering they are assigned an ID by coppermine. You could edit this ID in the database using phpmyadmin but trying to tie 1800 users with their pictures is going to be a massive task.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
