flf_zwitscher - Send Twitter updates from coppermine

Simple twitter integration. Once you upload a new image, a new tweet is generated with a link to the corresponding album.
You can define, whether you want to create tweets for private or password protected albums or not.

Install Plugin with plugin manager and make sure to enter your twitter username and password accordingly.

Please let me know, if you have trouble with this plugin.

Thanks for your contribution and continued efforts. I will take a look at this when I get back home.

Can you tell me how does it work exactly? I uploaded new photos but I don't see any generated link not it was posted on my Twitter?

Joachim Müller

The plugin comes with a configuration page where you have to enter your twitter account data. More details if you respect board rules.

I did that but still I don't see any link to Twitter.
Who said that there would be one? That's not what this plugin does.

Are you still having issues or was it just a misunderstanding?

Hi, I had a question about this plugin.  It tweets a link to the album where the picture was uploaded, along with the name of the album.  Is there a way to have the category that it is under as well?  Many of my albums have the same name (like Movie Stills, Wallpapers), so I would need the corresponding category that it's under for users to know what the pics are.

Like I would like the tweet generated to read as follows: New image uploaded in album {album name} under {category} - {URL}

I tried editing the code myself, but could not get the category name to show up.  Any help would be really appreciated.  :)

Sorry to bump this, but can nobody help me?  I figure it's just a small change in the code, but I'm not sure what the correct change is.  If it can't be done, that's fine.

Hi Reema,
I'm currently stuck with fixing the swf-upload-problem for this plugin. I'm confident I can include your enhancement wishes in the next version.
Cheers, Florian

Looks like an interesting plugin but I found that my captcha stops working when I enable it

Hello, I tried using the plugin in English and Russian versions. Both are functioning well, but I prefer the English, there are less bugs that I basically face afterwards.

I'm having problems with it.   :'(  Installs fine, but doesn't seem to do anything at the twitter end at all.  Also seems to stop the multiple upload working correctly.

Where is the shocked emoticon when you need it.

Phill, I did clear this with andre first tbh.  Asked him if I needed to upgrade with a bridged setup, and he said no. ;)  I've sent you a link via pm.
