The plugin will remove the (nice) resizing feature for full-sized image pop-ups built into cpg 1.5.x. Scollbars will only be shown in the new window when the image exceeds the size of the visitor's screen.

There is no support for this plugin. It was made for cpg users who liked the 1.4.x style of pop-ups and to help the moderators on this board with support requests about the new resizing feature in cpg 1.5.x.

This version 0.9 will not get much more development.
So why don't increase the version counter up to 1.x? Some users may be afraid of using 0.x versions ;)

Joe Carver

I will increase it. Mainly I wanted to add just a small readme but not much else to this one.

Does this work for other browsers like Mozilla Firefox too, or only Internet Explorer?  :-\

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Thank you so much for this!!!  I can appreciate the new resized pop-up feature, but if people are clicking for an HQ pic, they want it to be displayed HQ w/o having to take extra steps to view it.  It's been driving me crazy that I couldn't stop that from occurring, after having the HQ pop-up for 3 years.

    So THANK YOU.  lol

    Used this. Thanks.

But I thought you just have to edit the template so that the full size will not be resized.

Thank you very much Joe. This worked like a charm.
Info for other folks,,, I use IE most of the time but also had this problem while using Google Chrome. The plugin solved the issue for Chrome as well.

    Thanx a million !!!!!!!!!!! Works perfect !!!

Should that be included to standard set of options in Coppermine ??? That would be nice !!!

Thank you so much Joe for this pluggin! I could hug you!! :) We were very late getting our 1.5 updates done and were horrified to find our members could no longer view the large portion our images in their beautiful HQ clear size within the Gallery without issues. This pluggin has restored my sanity ;D

Please, with the next version, can this be an optional feature, not a compulsory one?? ;)

Thank you very much for this PlugIn! It's very useful for several of my sites, because most of my users prefer to see the photos in their native resolution after the first click on the intermediate sized photo.
It would be great to be able to control the "auto resize feature" in the coppermine settings directly, but of course, i can live good with this PlugIn.

Thanks from me, too.  Seems to work great with my install of cpg1.5.24.

Since this topic is a year old, just wondering if this is still the best way to get clickthroughs to full size originals?
