Could not extract the Coppermine version number

Just downloaded the newest version of coppermine.
Uploaded all files
Changed CHMODS
Created database / user

And went to install.php,
I get the following error: Could not extract the Coppermine version number from the file inlucde/init.inc.php. Please download a fresh copy of the Coppermine package.

But i just downloaded the newest coppermine package from sourcefourge.

Download it again. Maybe something went wrong and the package is corrupted.
