Has anyone been having problems with Norton Internet Security blocking the thumbnails of CPG? I've had quite a few reports from users who only see the little red x (like a broken image), and it turns out that all of them have been able to fix the problem by disabling Norton (but this is not a good solution). I'd like to know what may be causing this, so I can prevent the problem in the first place. Anyone have any ideas on what it might be?  :-\\

Link please.  Also, Norton gives detailed reasons for blocking, so you should be able to provide the message that Norton is giving these users.

I'm not sure what the message is that they're getting, I'll have to find that out.

I can confirm the behavior.  This will have something to do with your server setup, as Norton never causes any problems with other galleries. Here is what Norton has to say:

TCP non-syn/non-ack packet on invalid connection. Packet has been dropped
Source IP address: www.sundayplus.com(216.171.216.78)
Destination IP address: removed
TCP Source Port: http(80)
TCP Destination Port: 1486
TCP Message Flags: 0x00000010

By the way, there is currently a thread on our user forum discussing this topic as well:

Oh, you might want to know that that message came from the firewall log.  Norton does not produce its typical popups for this.

A little looking on Google reveals a range of possible causes, from a broken TCP stack to bad telephone lines.  Remember that you can take CPG out of the equation by doing some diagnostics while using the absolute URL to the photo. Good luck finding the issue!
