I just upgraded our websites coppermine gallery to the latest version and cannot find where I can allow
my users to upload files they may have on say flicker or photobucket.
Uploads from their PC's seem fine.

Is there a way or plugin that would make this possible? I have combed through the admin settings and such and dont see
anything there. I could be just missing it, tho..

That's not possible with Coppermine out of the box.

Afaik such a plugin doesn't exist. Maybe it's possible to transfer pictures from flickr or photobucket if they provide an api for such tasks.

I the old 1.4x coppermine and an area titled URI/URL Uploads, I never tried it, URI/URL Uploads isn't listed in the 1.5x.

Is there a way to put it back?  I really really need this.  I am unable to load up any photos for at least hours a day because this feature is gone since I use my iPad during the day.

This decision should really be reconsidered with the advent and popularity of notepads and the such that don't allow uploading of files other than using apps.

I totally agree that 1.4xx upload options were MUCH better than the new 1.5xx upload options.  I liked the old 1.4xx file upload and URL and vote to have it put back into next release.  Many of your users were happy with 1.4xx upload options.  I understand adding flash upload to 1.5xx, but don't remove the old.
