cleaned up a few PHP (8.4) deprecations
fixed PHP deprecation in calendar
removed security vulnerability
(please upgrade when possible)

my images are not displaying neither in thumbnail or in intermediate display in some category so i was wondering where the problem may be coming from.so please help me if you have any ideas that may cause that thanks in advance.
