I'm having a bit of trouble with reordering pictures within an album:

But, assuming I get that worked out - I think it would be really sweet if this could be done graphically with an ajax "drag and drop" feature.  Any chance anyone is working on a plugin for that?

Post a link to your gallery and a test user account. We already have a drag & drop feature.

The gallery is here:  http://59plymouth.net/59gallery

The username is "test" - I will PM you the password.

Thanks
Dan

P.S. thanks for clarification the file sort preference - that worked

shortmort37

Oops - no PM.  Well, the password is what you would guess...  If not, then you can contact me through my registration.  I'll reset afterwards.

Thanks

Drag & drop works as expected. Check your browser settings.

Can you tell me what that expected behavior is?  I can't find it in the documentation.  Do you drag the thumb in the Picture Manager (launched by the "sort my pictures" button) to a new relative position?

Not sure what setting in my browser could be implicated - I'm running IE7 at work where I am now, and I can do ajax-ey sorts of things like run the EnlargeIt! demo; at home I'm running Chrome and Firefox, and I can't figure it out there either.  But, I do sometimes suffer from Homer-itis.  I guess I could use a hint.

Thanks

You have to click left besides the file paths. Your theme seems not to have the according images. Use curve theme to test the feature. That icon will appear in every row.

Aha!  Yes, the icon is missing - but, the functionality is not!  If I hover on the far left (where the icon isn't), the pointer changes into that icon, even with the theme I'm using (prorandom).

That's good enough for me!  Thanks for the hint - this is a really slick user interface, I'm lovin' it.
