Logged in as admin, or any user I can't use the normal "upload file" function for single or multiple files.

The file starts loading in green, then ends in red with the message: "Upload Error: 302"

Ok, I went to http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/upload_troubleshooting.htm?expand_all=1#upload_support_step-by-step
and there is NO MENTION OF ERROR 302. I've set all the folder permissions.

I really don't get the surly attitude within this board. I searched the board and searched the instruction for ERROR 302, but I can not find anything.
It doesn't help that I am visually impaired and was hoping someone would have been kind enough to help out. No such luck.

I found the problem on my own.
Apparently the upload file function does not work with Firefox.
It works fine with IE.
You might want to add that specific error to your documentation.

What goes around, comes around. If people ignore our board rules and don't post the required information to help them, they will be directed to the docs/board rules, as we cannot write individually to each one. The alternative would be that you get no answer until you post the required information yourself.

I tried to help you by directing you to the correct section of the docs 'Step-by-step guide when asking for support' on upload issues.

It works fine with Firefox on many galleries out there. So it's no problem with Coppermine we have to add to our documentation.

Thanks for resolving your thread.

The problems isn't solved at all, but I figure the IE workaround is good enough for now. So far I've received several other emails from members of my gallery who are getting the 302 error when uploading using Firefox version 3.63. I'm not asking you to fix it though, just saying others are having the same issue.
