After upgrading from 1.4.x to the newest version, albums are now accessible for me when I log in as admin. Unlogged users can still view albums but as soon as they click on any picture thumbnail within album, they get message "You must login to view this page".

I never had password-protected albums/pictures and I double-checked in album properties what are the viewing rights, and all have 'Everyone(public album)'.

Because there is no edit post option here, I must add another post:

Also, admin panel is now all screwed up with buttoms previously aligned in one line now each taking entire width of the screen.

You can set additional permission levels in the groups manager.

Please post a link to your gallery, a test user account and a screenshot of your groups manager.

Ok, so it turnes out upgrade changed permissions of guests to 'thumbnail view only'. I sorted it out but now when I click on thimbnail I get some template error:
konrad.321.cn

The theme you're using is not compatible with cpg1.5.x. Either you upgrade it, use the cpg1.5.x version of that theme or just use any other compatible theme, e.g. curve: http://panzorjackhammer.com/a/gallery/?theme=curve

Thanks. I upgraded the thame but now everything is messed up. Thumbnail view has some weird bars on top and image description in image view is all mal-formatted.

Then just use another theme that works as expected ::)
